Belina Wreck - Dive Map

Belina Wreck

Hurghada, Egypt

The Belina was a safari boat and she is about 40 metres long. She lies on sandy bottom in the Sheraton Marina and serves as anchorage for many boats. Visibility here is not the best, it can be between 3 and 10 metres, but it is well worth diving this wreck. It is a shallow wreck from 9 metres up to the surface and fully grown with different kinds of soft corals. The hull itself is almost invisible because of all the sponges and coral growth. The abundance of life is absolutely amazing. The following is just a summary: Different kinds of nudibranches, batfish, yellow tailed barracudas, shrimpfish, tiny box fish, massive lionfish, crested velvet fish and so on. Belina is also a wreck which is often used during the penetration dive of the Wreck Diver Specialty.
