Hamda is a dive site on the northeast side of Big Giftun Island, about 1 hour by boat from Hurghada. The plateau drops from 15 to 35 meters depth with steep walls reaching 50 meters. Marine life includes moray eels, stonefish, scorpionfish, barracuda, sharks, turtles, and occasionally whale sharks.
