Safaga, Egypt
Panorama Reef, also known as Abu Alama, is an elliptical shaped reef located 60-90 minutes outside Safaga. The north plateau at 25 meters features fan corals and marine life including kingfish, tuna, barracuda, and Napoleon wrasse. The south plateau is home to Napoleon wrasse, moray eels, and a large anemone colony. The reef is known for encounters with eagle rays, manta rays, and various shark species.
