Shark's Bay
Shark's Bay is a popular shore dive site in Sharm el-Sheikh, known for its easy access and flexibility. Unlike boat dives, shore dives allow for more freedom and time to prepare and enjoy the dives. The site is ideal for macro photography, with an abundance of small reef life such as gobies, blennies, and juvenile fish. It is also a great spot for night dives, with regular appearances of crustaceans, echinoderms, and cephalopods. Shark's Bay is home to stonefish and scorpionfish, as well as a variety of pretty reef fish. It is suitable for divers of all levels and is often used as a training site. The dive starts at a coral plateau at 5m, dropping off to around 20m, where divers can spot Napoleon wrasse, eagle rays, giant grouper, and octopus. On the right side of the site, there is a deep canyon popular for tec diving, reaching depths of over 100m.Shark's Bay is a popular shore dive site in Sharm el-Sheikh, known for its easy access and flexibility.
